AN URBAN CATCHMENT

These images are a far cry from the drone imagery we like to use on our Instagram but are the reality of the rubbish scattered throughout our waterways here in Sydney.

What you’re looking at here is a litter catchment for an urban canal leading into Iron Cove, Sydney. A clever initiative by the local council to stop plastics making their way into the ocean. But it all starts with us. So make a habit to recycle. Ensure those plastic bottles are going into the recycling bin.

Your actions today (either right or wrong) make a big difference and are the start of an incredible chain of events.
